Immediate Action Made A Difference
The amazing parent group of Village Montessori acting quickly and in a meaningful way to honour Alexa's passing. By planting a beautiful dogwood tree and installing a granite bench in the grounds of the school which Alexa dearly loved, they have created a 'touchpoint' for our family to remember Alexa. The dogwood tree has a delicate pink blossom, and the ground beneath is planted with purple lavender to honour Alexa's favourite colour. The bench provides a place of sanctuary for us to reflect on the goodness bestowed to our family in our time of need. The meaningful sign, "With each thought of you, happiness blooms" demonstrates the school's unending memory of Alexa. This gesture has proved healing to all the Middelaer family.
